Normally Saturday Gold Lotto offers a $4 Million prize pool for division one winners, but during they year they will bump this prize pool up dramatically for Superdraws of $20 Million or the special Megadraw of $30 Million to cap off the year.
Saturday Gold Lotto works under the same rules as Monday and Wednesday Gold Lotto where you need to match all six of the winning numbers that are drawn from numbers 1-45 on a single game ticket to win all or a share of the division one prize. Megadraw Hot & Cold Numbers
Over the course of the last five Megadraws in Australia the so called hot and cold numbers have been determined.
For the main winning numbers the hottest or most frequently drawn number is 37, which has been drawn four out of five times.
Other numbers that are also considered hot are 9, 24, 11, and 41, which have all been drawn three out of five times.
Numbers that are deemed cold are 19, 10, 8, 15, and 26, with all only having been drawn once, while the number 19 has not been drawn as a main winning number since the 2010 Megadraw.
